Valentine's Love Religion

Stockholm's (Sweden) finest goth band. Started out 1999 and returned from hiatus 2009 with a really good song called Flower of Flesh.

All of the bands songs are about love or love-related. Funny footnote: the cult hit song, Zapphire, is inspired by a common alias used by asian strippers and the song Connie Loren is named after the transvestite with the same name.

Religion

Religion is a failed attempt at understanding the natural world around us, why we exist and what the hell our purpose is.

Science may not be able to answer these questions, but that doesn't mean religion can instead does it?
Perhaps some questions simply don't have answers?

Religion

The belief in gods or a God.

The cause of many wars throughout history.

The cause of many deaths throughout history.

Jesus wasn't a killer in disguise, he was just a guy who tried convincing people that it'd be a pretty sweet world if everybody was nice to each other.

.. Some people took it too far.

While I respect the Judeo-Christian ethic, as well as the Eastern philosophies and of course the teachings of Mohammad, I find that organized religion has corrupted those beliefs to justify countless atrocities throughout history. If I were to attend church, I'd be a hypocrite.

A lie. It causes death and hatred. It is told to children when they are little and they don't know any better so they are brainwashed into it. YOU DID NOT CHOOSE YOUR FAITH, IT WAS CHOSEN FOR YOU. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BELIEVE IT, HAVE YOUR OWN OPINION. Free your mind and believe in the actual scientific facts.

John was taught religion from when he was little. He didn't know any better and was forced to believe it, now he is crazy.
