textaside

The act of text messaging something personal, secret, or otherwise unfit to say aloud to someone next to you.

Derived from "aside", a theatrical speech during which other actors are on stage, but which only the audience can hear.

Not to be confused with texticide.

Though the teenage couple were mild-mannered in public, they frequently had sexual textasides.

I felt awkward at the party, so I had a textaside with my friend, before lying and telling everyone else that I felt sick.

Textifying

The act of asking someone to accept (Insert Deity here but usually Jesus) into their life/heart/mouth/etc.

Mark: Hey a text

Joe: Whose it from

Mark: A shit, its from Beth. She's been trying to get me to go to church with her for a week."

Joe: Seriously?

Mark: Ya man, she's been Textifying like a fucking murderer workin for a pardon.

A prejudice or discrimination, typically seen in school text books in the US state of Texas, usually affecting topics relating to history or religion.

My kid's schoolbooks are so texist that he's yet to read about Darwin!

Texticicle

When, either through necessity (about to catch a bus/train/tram/unicycle etc), inertia, or unadulterated loathing of the subject, someone engaged in the act of texting sends a message of the most abrupt nature, thus giving the appearance of being cold, neutral, detached. Particularly problematic in the case of emoticons which fail to convey the full gravitas of proceedings.
