Get the Peebows mug.Is often used as a derogative word for a toxic Filipino gamer. But if you look at the context and background of a Filipino gamer, trash talking is part of their "game".
In computer shops in the Philippines, its quite common to see bets being placed in games, so the scene is quite competitive, and usually the line between winning and loosing is between who looses their cool first and who remains calm under extreme trash talking and pressure, it's a common tactic in the Philippines.
It's also arguably one of the reason why a local gamer tries to get good in the game because they don't want to be on the loosing side of the trash talk, so it becomes a motivation and reward at the same time.
Unfortunately, if this culture is translated to the international scene it may understandably be looked at as "unprofessional" and toxic. Of course there are still edge cases where you'll find real toxic Peenoise but that is true to every gamer community.
Real Peenoise, boast in victory but not to rub it in, and bitter in defeat but not resentful. All in all they show sportsmanship in general since they understand, that is just part of their game and nothing personal.
