information zombie

1. One who continually, mindlessly, and voraciously consumes information (usually in electronic forms such as podcasts, news and entertainment sites/feeds, blogs, etc.) without the intention or effect of learning, retaining, or integrating any of what is read or heard.

2. Someone who consumes information just for information's sake

NOTE: Analogous to a traditional zombies in that the abstract object of consumption (ideas) is generated by the activity of the traditional, physical object of zombie consumption (brains).
She's such an information zombie, she spends half the day zoned out on her newsfeed.

Commonly believed amongst computer nerds to be an ACTUAL subject ...

Boy .. they were wrong.

So what is an information system?

It is a fancy name for a database, most commonly found in the Yellow Pages.

Fortunetly for the natives of Scotland, their examination authority offer qualifications in the subject on a normal and higher level.

One more step towards an education system made up of simple, skivvy subjects.
Most people believe that ghosts are examples of Higher Information Systems, thus non existant.

Like MI6 and Jesus.

A term derived from frequently seen street signs outside of adult clubs in urban Japan referring to things with explicit content especially of a sexual nature.

low information syndrome

Low Information Syndrome inflicts its victims with a deep conviction that one does not need to be educated on topics that pertain to their lives. The inflicted person than chooses ignorance as an excuse to feel entitled to have everything for free.
Low Information syndrome really kept Shantytown from realizing its true potential.
