Fedmond

A portmanteau of "fake" (or "false") and "Edmond"; ergo "Fedmond". An area of far northwest Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, U.S.A. (and unincorporated vicinity), which borders the adjacent suburbs of Edmond, Oklahoma. This area, while much of which is located within the city limits of Oklahoma City, nonetheless shares a mailing address with Edmond, with regard to U.S. Post Office regulations. This fact is embraced by many residents of "Fedmond", who desire close ties and bonds with the actual city of Edmond, (perceived to be more of a desirable area in many regards), while some are simply misled by the mailing address.

"She says she lives in Edmond, but really her place is in 'Fedmond' ".

femme invisibility

When a lesbian dresses in a traditionally feminine way, many people may assume that she is straight. She may also be told that she is "too pretty to be gay". As a result, she may become invisible to other lesbians because she does not fit the stereotypical "butch" role and/or does not date "butch" women.

What I suffer from on a daily basis.

1: So do you have a boyfriend?

2: No, I'm a lesbian

1: Wow! I would have never guessed!

tomboy femme

a girl with sometimes boyish personality or tendencies. Not necessarily has to do with the look. A classification/label in the LGBT community. Can refer to sporty girls or girls who have a tomboyish manner and expression of self.
Can sometimes be girly and enjoy the things girls usually like to do, but may hang out with many guys or just not as feminine-acting as other girls.

I would consider myself to be a tomboy femme -- although i enjoy playing sports or video games, I also enjoy shopping and watching chickflicks as well. And I sometimes wear high heels and skirts from time to time.

femme fatale

A beautiful and seductive woman with a very charming and usually unique or mysterious personality. Men become very interested in her and become distracted and fascinated by her charming, attractive qualities. She then leads men into negative or unpleasant situations, where the victim highly regrets ever getting involved with her. Sometimes the situation will turn dangerous or even deadly, depending on the level of manipulation she has over the victim. Most of the time she will gain complete control over the victim by seducing him or engaging in some sort sexual relations with him.

She is such a femme fatale. She uses her seductive attitude and beauty to manipulate men. She seems so sweet on the outside, but she is very rotten and twisted on the inside.

violent femmes

Band formed in 1980. THEY ARE NOT DEAD. A lot of people think the band collapsed, but alas, that hasn't happened. The drummer plays a snare, and it's the only percussion in a lot of the songs. I love em so much!

Wow man I thought they were deceaced.

Fo' schizzle, I just went to see em two weeks ago at Artscape. Super concert.
