This word is most appropriately used when someone is proven wrong in an embarassing manner. It is not simply a matter of making a mistake, or being embarassed, but is most properly used when someone has vehemently defended a position and been proven wrong.

It is also most appropriately used during a battle of insults when someone offers a better retort to someone's innitial attack.

Scenario 1:

Person 1 - Asians suck at football. There has never been a good asian football player
Person 2 - What about Jr. Seau!?
Person 1 - Jr. Seau is polynesian, not asian, you dumbass
Third Party - Ohh! You got moded!

Scenario 2:

Person 1 - You're too ugly to get any girls you fat ass!
Person 2 - That's why I fucked your girlfriend last night!
Third Party - Ohhhh! You got MODED!

Rocko's Modern Life

A genuinely hilarious show on Nickelodeon in the mid-1990s. 'RML' was an ingenious parody of 1990s life, poking fun at big businesses, coffee shops, credit cards, and many other things. Since it was on a children's network, the show's creators had to throw in some 'potty jokes,' as much of the show's true humor was too highbrow for the average ten year-old.

Rocko's Modern Life still airs on Nicktoons TV, but I don't think that very many people receive that channel.

when you have explosive diarrhea and the resulting aftermath looks like a bag of chilli exploded in a vacuum. Usually accompanied with heralds of trumpets and noxious fumes. The resulting artwork must stick to the sides of the porcelain to achieve true 'modern art' status.

After Nico ate several burritos for lunch he needed to run to the bathroom to create a modern art masterpiece.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 campers

These are the people that will sit in one area of a map on Modern Warfare 2 and either snipe, or lay down claymores by themselves so no one can get near them. Usually the sign of a bad player who thinks they are the best.

COD Player#2: Yea, there's a bitch ass camper on the crane.

rage mode

state of mind in wich you become extreamly angry alowing you become stronger and capable of doing things you normally could not do

person1:i cant lift this much weight
person2:just go into rage mode
person1 then gets extreamly angy and is able to lift the weight

person1:some kid in my class got the answer wrong so the teacher starts yelling and the kid went into rage mode through a desk across the room punched a hole in the wall and ran out the door
person2:sweet!

Armchair moderator

An armchair moderator is someone in a forum or chatroom on the Internet that isn't a moderator of the website, yet acts like one. Sometimes this is abbrieviated to "armchair mod". Usually armchair moderators long to be a moderator themselves, so they try to enforce the rules by telling people who break the rules to stop, and to enforce the rules that are usually already read when you enter the website.

Person 1: what up people
Person 2: stfu n00b
Armchair moderator: please refrain from using profanity or from calling anyone "n00bs", it's annoying and immature.

Person 1: I hate armchair mods
Armchair moderator: blacklisting is against the rules here.

Twitch moderators

Twitch moderators are stupid ass guys. A twitch moderator will ban a guy for doing something stupid, but will not ban a girl for doing something worse.

A female streamer can throw her cat across the room without getting banned, but a guy can pull a fish out of water for a few seconds and then get banned. I mean twitch moderators are some thirsty bois
