Someone you want to look after, care for, and groom if needed.

If someone is your monkey you will be territorial over them. Usually used when you’re just bursting w love for them in the moment.

Playing monkey

When a person is saying random bits of information or throwing out quotes about a situation that they heard from another person. A person normally does this when they are involved in something stressful/scary that they feel they can't talk about. Drinking alcohol and terrified laughter are also common when "playing monkey."
