The filter feature a dynamic model of a moose head that overlaps on the user's face, while the original eyes and the mouth of the user is transition into the corresponding positions on the moose head.
The first member of Moose Gang is unclear, but, during the summer of 2020, more and more people started to use the Moose Head filter regularly, making them a part of the gang. Moose Gang members take pride after the majestic animal that they are named after. They follow the rule of simplicity and solidarity. Helping out a fellow moose in need is the proof of true brotherhood as held by Moose Gang. The sign of the gang is an M formed by one's index, middle, and ring finger pointing down. This is an important tool for identification.

So far, Moose Gang had evolved into an international organization with members from North America and Asia.
