I told my big cousin Hemy of the Manors, I grew up in Crescent Park…I would have the whole world saying it on my quest to be the best female entertainer! When the Police were coming you holler Yee to warn the hommie’s… this also happened in jails and prisons. I, Omolara DoubleO Odofin took the term to get attention Your Eyes Everyone an acronym I turned it into. I formed a girls group “The Yee Clique” we were under Studio Tone who had us around E40 & all the hot rappers of the 90’s. Some of the girls in the group the Carter Sister being from the Crest we all spread it around Vallejo, Ca. Mac Dre, Suga Wolf aka Dubbee, and Coolio da Unda Dogg all are real hommies had us in the studio and it spread. Even in high school I’d holler Yee when excited and having hella fun and it made others join in. No longer a warning We get attention like, “Yee Yee through the door for free”,was my original lyrics, I influenced Mac Dre me and my girls & I were everywhere like Yee! Like, here Yee here Yee a way to say You or Yo in olden days. Yee as in Yee-Haw that cowboys yell when excited and having fun. Yeeees Yee Yee!
