The water stater for the Hoenn Region of the 3rd generation in the Pokemon Series, also known as Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald Edition. Everything you need for a starter. It has the ability to beat the Electric gym if it's just a bit over-leveled, due to it being able to learn Ground moves. It is also cute, and then evolves into a awkward state, and then becomes straight up BAD ASS. Easily the best starter.

Mudkips are better than Treeckos and Torchics.
