round file

verb. The relatively simple action of tossing useless documents or other papers you don't care about into the trash bin (usually round in shape). The lowest priority of filing systems...yet amazingly effective.

noun. The garbage can

"Your jury summons came in the mail, I round filed it for you."
"Thanks for saving me the time."

"After the end of the semester, I took all my papers and put them in the round file. They were taken care of accordingly."

A totally awesome show that started in the 90's and got really popular. It was one of Fox's major hits starring agent Fox Mulder(David Duchovny) and agent Dana Scully(Gillian Anderson). Scully was sent to watch over Mulder and to debunk his unconventional work. Because of Mulder's crazy beliefs in the paranormal, he took the role of the "believer" and she was the "skeptic"; always taking the side of science. As the show progressed, Scully started to trust Mulder more and more, and they became better friends. And, well, fall in love.

The X-files is a science-fiction television series started by Chris Carter.

The subtle art of catching fish out of season, removing the meat, then releasing the remains back to the sea.
This is mainly done to avoid being caught by a Fish & Game warden, and thus avoiding a hefty fine.

IN BRIEF: The Sex Offender Registry. It can also be called "the rape file."

A registration that's for people (sex offenders) that are convicted of sex crimes, like rape, molestation or sexual abuse, involving illegal sexual activity.

If you ask me, the rape file can ruin anyone.
