A cougar's not necessarily an older woman chasing younger men - she could be as young as 25 and be on the lookout for bald dudes in their late 30s or black dudes of any age, a so-called nouveau cougar. Signs of cougarism are: cougar lips (exessively red), cleavage, animal print clothing (particulary headbands or sun visors), black power hairdo or badly died shakira hair. The cougar typically sips at either red wine, gin tonic or whisky, and sits on a bar stool from which she takes a flying leap at her cock of choice.
