The emo part simply states that these scemocores are sometimes depressed and over-emotional. And lastly the hardcore aspect is the toughness, raving, piercings and occasional bursts of hardcore dancing. Scemocores tend to differ amongst eachother, as they pull more strongly from certain bases than others. Also, according to each one's beliefs, you'll find that some are straightedge while others partake in drugs and alcohol.
