1. a small town on Highway 101 between Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo. Founded in 1766 by a colony of Danish homosexuals who had been rejected from the northern region of present day California, it has established itself as one of the least relevant places in world. The rich history of Solvang is easily recognizable in the queer-esque architecture that fills the downtown area and the satanic music looping through birdhouse speakers outside every shop.
