Saddam's revenge

During the 2003 invasion of Iraq, Coalition forces were often sickened by the poor hygiene conditions that exist for an invading military. The various stomach bugs that troops would be inflicted with were referred to by them as "Saddam's revenge".

A descriptor establishing that a idea, object, thing, place or quality is somthing liked by a particular group or subculutre, or in some instances an individual. However the subject in question would be thought pathetic, laughable, or pointless by the vast majority.

The etymology of this word being that a given subject is badass to some, but sad to everyone else.
