Get the Mopped / Mopmug. A hairstyle common in the 2000’s til about 2012. It was customary for Gen Y kids To showcase their Millenial Misery with a profile pic on Myspace with side swoop bangs. This hairstyle’s exaggerated part would cause the elder emo’s hair to nearly cover both or at least one of their eyes. It was also customary for the Myspace Mop to be utterly fried with a hair straightener and dyed unnaturally, either with overly saturated colors or horizontal stripes.
I’ve been feeling nostalgic lately and decided I hate my center part hair. I want to go back to my Myspace Mop days and change my profile song to Story of the Year or The Maine’s latest release. Simpler Times.
