dating violence

When one person in a relationship does everything they can to have power and control over the other person, which includes physical violence, verbal and emotional abuse, stalking, or sexual assault. Dating violence is more than a one time incident... it is a pattern of abuse that usually happens more and more and gets worse and worse over time. It can affect all people: young and old, black and white, gay and straight, rich and poor, and everyone inbetween.

Friend: My boyfriend is so friggin' controlling I can't stand it anymore, but I'm scared to leave him because he said he would kill himself if I ever left him.

Other friend: Dude, that is soooo dating violence. He's doing everything he can to control you!

Friend: Is that why he made me unfriend all my guy friends on Facebook?

Other friend: Yup

Friend: Is that why he told me that if I didn't have sex with him that he would leave me?

Other: Duh!

Violent Tom

Probably originated from Haverhill. Refers to an unneccessary violent act and person. We question where Tom's violence was first shown - scientists believe that it was in the English computers when he smacked the Big Gay Bear (also in the dictionary) in the face - subsequently, the bear mauled violent Tom to the ground.

Tom hits someone - "AAAAhhhh, Tom, ur so violent!"

Any kind of core music (deathcore, grindcore, mathcore, techcore, etc...) that isn't based in melody and focuses more on technical riffs that generally don't flow and are highlighted by the most violent death growls known to music.

Winds of Plague, Design The Skyline, I can't tell the difference; it's all violencecore.
