wicked

Modifier, often for an adjective, used primarily in New England, especially Massachusetts, also Maine and the UK. In its traditional MA usage, "wicked" will ALWAYS precede another word, a true New Englander will never say merely "That was wicked." In cases of extreme emotion, it will often be preceded or followed by "fucking."

traditional: Sean of the Dead was a wicked good movie.

extreme: I am wicked fucking pissed that Lost hasn't been on.

Mutiple usage: Fucking Batman Begins is a wicked fucking excellent movie.

In serious duress: Fucking Johnny Damon is a god damn wicked fucking traitor. Fucking Yankees. I hate the fucking Yankees a wicked fucking lot.

Wicked and bad

Both words have long been subverted to mean the opposite. Together they have a double opposite-negative power to express that something is extra cool and exciting.

"You wanna go see Bowie play live?"
"Yeah, wicked and bad!"

"Wanna go out for dinner on Tuesday?"
"Yeah, I'm free. Wicked and bad - see you then."

wicked grumpa

A term often used by mainers when describing a large bowel movement. The people who use this term usually have a cigarette hanging from their lip and are fisting a bud. Also often used by construction workers and people who exhibit bad etiquette.

If there are any sorority girls present when this expression is used they surely will not understand. If for some strange reason they do, they will be disgusted.
