Taking something that someone finds joy in and describing it as joyless and inferior. Taken from lake swimming where you can find occasional warm spots; telling someone about it may lead them to come over to share the warm spot, only to take a piss.

Pocket Warm Candy 

Taking a soft and chewy candy, such as skittles, laffy taffy, air heads, starbursts, or any candy that won't melt, and placing it in your pocket to create the "pocket warm candy" effect. The candy will then be warm, soft, and even more chewy, as your pocket acts as a warmer to soften the candy.

Biting and tearing an air head can be a hard task on your teeth, so if I place the airhead in my pocket for 10-15 minutes, I will be creating the "Pocket Warm Candy" effect, which softens the candy making it tastier and easier to eat.
