one who is in-tune with nature, a earthen warrior that fights all who oppose him, the top ten most bad-ass mother fuckers you've ever meet. A Sockman has no morals and will kill anyone who annoys him, he is represented by the color green and only answers to higher powers or people of equal strength, usually his friends.

The theory that socks evolve to the shape of one's foot. Thus making a differnce between a left sock and a right sock.

Status posts or Tweets from name brand companies that you Liked on Facebook or Followed on Twitter.

I Liked Pepsi's page, now every 5 minutes I see Social Ads about some stupid promotion they're doing.

I followed Chase bank on Twitter and now half my timeline are Social ads about ways to manage money and information about their premium card services.

Social Act

The act you put on in public or around friends and strangers. Anyone that isn't family or that doesn't know how you really are thinks you act one way and only that one way. Likewise, your family may think you act a different way and only that one way. Often times, the friends and family will not know of both personalities or "acts". These "acts" can be made up of multiple characteristics, usually opposites. There are countless different "acts" to fit everyone that has one.

Frank: "You can trust me, Steve, I won't let you down."
Steve: " I don't know about this, Frank. You have been known to mess up and mess others up."
Frank: " Yeah well that's just my social act. I really am responsible."
