Limp Brain

An individual who cannot think for themselves. They ask for assistance to make decisions from others, but rarely if ever follow their advice. A very weak minded person who constantly complains about their situation, but cannot find any solutions to change it. A pussy headed idiot.

Student #1: Wow! That junior high principal seems lost and can't figure out the policies in the school handbook.

Student#2: Yeah, Mr. Culver is a real limp brain. He needs to go back and work at DHS with Clifton.

Freshman Brain

A term that encompasses the deficit in emotional awareness often exhibited by college freshmen compared to most upperclassmen. Symptoms can include but are not limited to: crippling insecurities that require massive reassurance to quell; flaking repeatedly; early onset "what are we" talk; lovebombing; colossal mood swings. Prepare for a rollercoaster.

Exact numbers are unknown, but it is suspected at least 30 college credits (studio art not included) are required to mature beyond Freshman Brain.

Example 1:
"Yo man are you still talking to Anna?"

"Nah man.. I couldn't handle the Freshman Brain."

Example 2:
"Bro. Maddie wants me to tell her who I hook up with though she and I aren't exclusive."

"Yeah that's crazy. Freshman Brain."

brain drain

When an organization or community is doing poorly enough that its smartest people, seeing the writing on the wall, leave for better opportunities elsewhere. This is common in business and other organizations that perpetuate a common goal or mission and once purged it typically accelerates the demise of the organiztion.

For example: Facebook's poor stock performance since it's IPO and lack of favorable stock options for employees puts them at risk of brain drain. Many will likely head over to Google or Apple, but they'll be in trouble.

Mark Zuckerberg: Sheryl, can find me those repots on Zynga's...Hey?! Why are wearing a Google sweatshirt?!

Sheryl Sandberg: Sorry Mark. We had a good run, but your lack of focus on ad revenue and overvalued IPO has caused this drop in FB stock value with no end in sight. I and the others are leaving before the stock tanks.

Mark Z: The others? They're all leaving Facebook? You can't! We'll never survive this brain drain!

Sheryl: Yeah, sorry. You should've thought about that before going public.
