Swinging

A lifestyle of non-monogany where sexual relations occur outside the established couple. Swingers tend to refrain from romantic attachments with their outside partners, thus differentiating themselves from PolyAmorists. There is some overlap between the two communities, though the closeness of the comparisons are generally not acknowledged.

Swingers often engage in the activity as a couple. "Swing Parties" are venues where the activity may occur.

The most useless perk in Fallout New Vegas, added by the Dead Money DLC. Available at Level 2, for some reason, and requires 20 Repair, and 70 Science skill points. All because of one programming error, it has become the most infamous perk ever to exist since Here and Now. Even if you use unofficial bug fixes, it's still useless.

Person1: Oh boy! I levelled up! Should i take In Shining Armor? It sounds cool, since i wear Metal Armor!
Person2: Dude, don't take that one. Don't waste your perk point on this one.

Prom Swinging

The act of two upperclassmen who are going to prom together double dating with an underclassmen couple so the underclassmen can go to prom together. Typically in this situation the upperclass girl writes the underclass guy off and the upperclass guy writes of the underclass girl. They still dance with their boyfriend/girlfriend through the duration of the dance.

bob: are you going to prom?
fred: yeah were prom swinging w/ my upperclassmen bro.
