Buckle up Buttercup is a sarcastic expression, denoting that one should get ready for some upcoming unpleasant or extreme action.
It is a bit of a sarcastic portmanteau between the "buckle up" phrase used to get people to use seat belts and "pucker up buttercup" meaning to prepare for a kiss. The sarcasm reverses the positive connotations.

Get the buckle up buttercup mug.Pronounced: "Buck - Lame"
Noun - Alternative name for Auckland City, New Zealand.
Verb - Very, very lame.
Origin:
Noun.
This word first came about in laziness of sending text messages to friends, wherein using predictive texting, the word "Bucklame" comes up instead of the word "Auckland". So when we texted each other about Auckland, we instead left it as "Bucklame". We eventually grew to say this word verbally as opposed to "Auckland", as we found it hilarious to say.
Verb.
The first time we used this word, we were in Auckland itself, and our impression of it as a city was a bad one, so we emphasised the "lame" part of the word, and it quickly became a verb, being used to show the extent of how extremely lame something is.

Get the Bucklame mug.An individual or pack consisting of at least 2 women that prowl around rodeos in search of Buckle-Winning cowboys to sleep with. They typically wear short-shorts, mini-skirts, low-cut tops (typically flannel/plaid) , "painted on" jeans, and cowboy boots that resemble the high heel shoe. These cowgirl wannabes will often manipulate cowboys with their cleavage and by lying to them (about how they're true country girls and how they have a horse etc.) in order to get country men interested in getting intimate with them. Basically, they are city girls dressed up as country girls to have a one night stand with country boys. These women are seen as tramps to true cowgirls/country girls.

Get the Buckle Bunny mug.Tim Buckley is the creator of CAD, short for Ctrl-Alt-Del, a video-game based webcomic that can be found at the URL cad-comic.com. At first, Tim's comic was small, with a friendly community which he frequently interacted with. However, as his community got bigger, he alienated many fans and community members with an arrogant attitude and a seeming lack of care for his fans. This has culminated several times in confrontations, most recently whereupon Tim deleted the RoM subsection of his own forum when accused of sending sexually explicit images to a minor several years past. While his comic continues to enjoy success, those who have interacted with Tim on a personal level have generally negative tales to tell.
