buckethead now in march of 2005 is playing in a band called colonel claypool's bucket of bernie brain...and you can guess les claypool-bass buckethead-guitar brain and bernie..one of 'em is drums and one is keyboard..and les also sings...i think in my opinion as buckethead as one the strangest,yet most fantastic guitar players ever to hit the universe...buckethead also plays w/puppets...uses numchucks and he break dances:-)

The other definitions are retarded. Buckethead's true name isn't what MTV says it is. MTV is to music as KFC is to chicken. Buckethead is a very talented man, and his origins remain unkown. You may enjoy his music or not, it is very unique. He has been known to play with bands such as Deli Creeps and Praxis. He has played with Guns 'N Roses to make some money, and continues to do with his own projects, which is very respectible.
Correction: Unlike the other definition which says Buckethead does not play bass, he actually does. He has a custom double neck guitar/bass as you can see in the picture that has been uploaded.
