Friendzone 

A particularly aggravating metaphorical place, that people end up in when someone they are interested in only wants to be friends. It is impossible to get over someone while in the friendzone, because, as friends, you still see them too often for them to be erased from your memory, and yet, you cannot be with them the way you want.

Person 1: Hypothetically, how would you react if I told you I like you?
Person 2: I'm sorry, I don't mean to hurt you, but I want to just be friends.
Person 1 is now in the friendzone.

Friendship Reciprocity Ratio 

The friendship reciprocity ratio, or F.R. Ratio, is the ratio representing the unwritten friendship law that the sum of x-friend's purchases for y-friend should be equal to, or as close to equal to, y-friend's purchases for x-friend. The closer to "0" this ratio is, the more substantial the friendship. Any friend who is significantly negative in this ratio is a shitty friend.

Dave- Dude, Greg "forgot" his wallet again. Had to pay for his lunch again. Not to mention I bought him an Audi for his birthday last month and all I got was a misspelled "Hapie Berthday" on Facebook today.

Nate- Greg is a shitty friend. What's your guys' friendship reciprocity ratio at now?

When you love you're best friend, things can go wrong. Things may not turn out exactly the way you wanted too, and they may not have the same feelings about you. If they find out you had feelings for you, it may ruin everything you guys had together. Memories will be forgotten, and special moments may not be so special anymore.
