A slang word used by hippies, tree-huggers, and a select few unnaturally awesome human beings, to describe an event (usually an outdoor adventure) in the most preposterous, beastly, epic way.

A housing complex or neighborhood comprised of cardboard boxes, usually situated on a piece of public property. Frequently referred to as a last-resort housing option for people who currently would not be considered vagrants (college students, recently unemployed)

Since my company downsized me, I am going to have to choose between moving in with my parents or moving into the cardboard carnival.
