Slop was originally a term used to describe semi-liquid foods. Today, it has become an Umbrella Term that online people use to describe the things they dislike. As a result of this, the term has completely lost its meaning after everyone started calling everything slop.

Chevrolet has stopped selling sedans and hatchbacks, and keeps pumping out crossover-slop.
There is barely any benefit to buying crossover-slop over a hatchback.
