crossing the mound

When a guy is about to hook up with a girl but is too much of a bitch to actually kiss her so instead he skips to tenderly and awkwardly massaging her boob whilst pretending nothing is happening and more often than he pretends that his attention is elsewhere by looking off into the distance.

Crossing the mound comes from the proverbial baseball field of sexual progression, in this case the guy runs straight from the batters box to second base thus running over the pitchers mound on the way. (Hence crossing the mound)

Laura: "Hey Jessie I heard that Steve was crossing the mound with you last night."

Jessie: "Yeah he's got no balls, I had to kiss him first."

Northfield Mount Hermon

The best prep school to ever be created. In the beginning, if you were pretentious and snobby, you were turned away by admissions immediately. It is a place where, both in history and present, many celebrities send their kids i.e. Jackie Robinson, Daniel Craig, John Irving, Patrick Ewing, etc. Celebrities are made at NMH too, such as Uma Thurman, Laura Linney, Chiddy Bang, etc.

It is a prep school that proves you don't have to be snobs to be a successful prep school. NMH Basketball is the biggest feeder to the Ivy League in the country and dominates typical schools like Deerfield. NMH teaches kids to go out and DO SOMETHING in the world, not make a lot of money.

It has quite possibly the best food in prep school, and one of the nicest campuses too.

Other schools such as Choate, Exeter and Deerfield think NMH is a hippy drug school, because the students don't dress in pastels 24/7 and can have good times.

All in all, NMH trumps the other prep schools except maybe Taft which is a pretty sick place.

Northfield Mount Hermon Students are real people, not kids riding daddy's money through life.

very much like street BMX biking, but with a good quality, fullsize bicycle. urban mountain bikes have front-fork suspension and a hardtail, with a low-clearance top-tube and low seat. its an action sport with a small number of devoted practicioners who are recognizable by their deeply pocked, purple shins, tolerance, friendliness, maverick mentality, and sexy, athletic build.
