I know, right?

This is a recently popular expression of agreement that carries a subtext. It is more than agreement with an idea (observation, opinion); it is a friendly assertion that the speaker has already had the same idea–as in, "yeah, I know"–but it goes further: it seeks validation for the speaker's claim of precedence, from the very person whose claim he's jumping. The subtext might be "Oh, you took my idea; you should be agreeing with ME, not vice versa."
Student: I couldn't pay attention to the lecture because of that ball of sweat hanging from the professor's nose.

the more you know

A reference to NBC public service announcements which would feature celebrities reciting a random (usually touching) fact, followed by the statement, "The More You Know."

Thus, a person may say this after reciting something that is not necessarily useful to the listener. It may also indicate that the user does not expect a response from the listener.

Often rendered like a tag, e.g. #themoreyouknow.

Bryan: chilling.
Bryan: brb, gotta poop
Bryan: The more you know.

I know what that's about!

something to say to somebody when either you are not listening, don't give care about what they are saying, or when you actually have NO EFFING IDEA what they are talking about. A very good closer to a conversation you are trying to walk away from.
You need to be careful, because used too often in the wrong situation, the insincerity shows through.
"So, I was at that office for over two hours and then they had me go down town and talk to someone who it must have been her first day. And long story short, I still don't have my reflectors back from the warehouse."
