The beard imbues the power to fight bears not only that but it regulates body temperature so the Bear Fighter can fight in the worst of weather. A Bear Fighter is not a person to mess with. He is feared and respected by all. It's not a coincidence that Beard and Bear have the same first four letters, the extra letter in beard is what makes it such a powerful device against the bears.
Ryan is the greatest Bear Fighter of them all just look at his epic beard. The bears stand no chance against it!!
