A sweetheart sadist is someone who gains sexual pleasure from seeing their partner vulnerable or weak but does not wish to genuinely pain them or make them uncomfortable. In a sense, a sadist who is also caring and values consent and comfort; only wanting to preform sadistic acts if their partner has consented and is comfortable as well.
