Volume Chumping

The act performed by a caucasian who is driving while loudly listening to a tight hip-hop jam, but suddenly approaches a stop sign or red light. If the driver notices a black person within close proximity, he/she will attempt to subtly turn down the volume. This volume adjustment is done to avoid the uncomfortable feeling of the black person noticing that the driver is just another cracker trying to be down, but failing miserably.

Once James pulled up to an intersection and saw the potential for his cover to be blown, he started volume chumping to minimize his exposure.

Term coined in reference to how black people generally indulge dialogue at a higher volume, than Caucasian counterparts.

A: So why was residence security called?
B: Because the black people were at 3am talking on their phones in corridors, music, general black volumes of talking etc . . .

Domestic Volume Index

A person's domestic volume index is a measurement ( 1 - 3) of lifestyle value one individual takes in a common living environment either workplace or domestic.

Examples of people who have a high domestic volume are middle aged women, artists, hyper active people, annoying people, gay dudes, drag queens and Oprah.

The scale measures as 1 = one average person's domestic volume, 2 = the volume of 2 average people and 3 = the volume of three people.

The only two people to have measured 4 on the index in recorded history are King Henri the VIII and Paris Hilton
