To cough up and spit out a large glob of flem usually resulting in a loud a cough and throat clearing noise.

On the bus, we saw a young man "hock a loogie". He spit the loogie on the ground near an agitated yuppie.

Longered

this is not a word but i strongly believe that longered should be a form of longer as lengthen is a dumb word and its hard to spell. so essentially longered is lengthen but cooler. so start saying longered instead of lengthen.

it might be better if we longered the school day instead of shortening it

Effective cancellation through continuous (seemingly small) postponements.

I asked for a decision but I've just been longed off.

I asked for a copy of the new rules, but first they said it would take a week, then the copier was broken, now the appropriate person is on leave... I think I'm being longed off mate.
