Male ones usually tend to make harems everywhere they go. (Which tends to be the same as Turkish history.. Everywhere they went, they started a turkish country.. There are many Turkish countries in the world.) Of course the women in his harem have no idea about that. He deceives the foreign females with his charm and makes them his slave (by manipulating them very smoothly). Of course foreign women have no idea about that either. At the end of the day, they go back and marry a Turkish women. But his harem usually stays.
