If Alex was to stick a cork in it, sit down in front of a computer & watch some bollox on youtube or something similar, all would become clear (once the stream has stopped buffering).

Streamer Syndrome

When someone talks as if they are the center of attention, especially when in a call with others/playing a game.
Another example of this is if someone is in a call and talking about their game specifically when not streaming it to anyone, thus annoying the fuck out of everyone.

Person 1: Hey everyone how have we been?
Person 3: Shit I fell! geez bro
Person 2: hey guys wanna leave this call this guy has a serious case of streamer syndrome
Person 4, 5, 6, 7: Yeah lets go
