He worked with another general named Emiliano Zapata who was equally praised. He once had some problems with the U.S. government and went into a town in Texas where he killed 7 Americans to prove his point. He was never found by the American Government. He is like a Mexican version of Robin Hood. Since then any Mexicans named Francisco(such as myself) were nicknamed "Pancho" to commemorate him.
