A term invented by HG Tudor, famous NPD author, proving that imitation is NOT, in fact, the sincerest form of flattery. Instead it's the preferred method of destruction for a narcissist to try and steal everything good about you like the mythological Ape of Thoth. They are trying to steal your place at the table in life, your professional/private destiny and social karma. It is a theft of your erotic capital, unique personal style, idiolect or manner of speech, intellectual capital, social capital including hobbies etc. It's giving Single White Female but this can happen to anybody, from anyone else, including cultural appropriation from any outgroup racially, sexually or generic outsider in class. It continues until they steal the target's life including spouse and friends or they are exposed for being too blatant or possibly, rarely, find another juicier target or can no longer access the original target, like being blocked. Paper trails are useful with these types of people because they will project whatever they are doing onto you, always be the first to publish something of yours, never let them see or edit anything. Never tell them your plans, even something frivolous and simple like your intended outfits and favourite restaurants. Stay vague and go Grey Rock to survive. Do not let them interrogate you on your life, beliefs, plans, dreams, crushes etc.
e.g. "Meghan was dressing like Diana again."
"She really thinks we won't notice? Creepy."
"Classic character trait acquisition."
"Why is HG always right?"
"Eton, I guess."

When you make things about yourself and forget about your costars and only use them for comedic relief. Things seem to fall into your hands luckily without any help from others.
Omg Heather, has anybody told you that Tiffany is the main character? So you must be the supporting character, huh?

A person that is always in the spotlight and is the overall dominating one in a group. A main character has a strong personality that makes him or her shine like a diamond. Not everybody can be one tho, that person is required to own a particular set of skills or characteristics.
To sum it all up, a main character is a person about whom you can write a book.

~ Jaimy and Daniel were having a discussion about who the main character was, as there can only be one it must be Daniel because a fortune cookie once said that there will be a book written about his life.

It’s a factual definition about a person. That person is always in the spotlight and no-one can prove that fact wrong.
Not everyone can become one, you must meer all of the criteria listed below:
- Your name has to start with a D or an E;
- Your IQ has to be higher than that of a child;
- You must be a human;
- You must speek more than 3 languages fluently;
- You must be annoying (because no-one likes main characters).
