The cheapest and sorriest excuse for a subway system that needs to be expanded immensely to be of any use whatsoever.

I got on the Baltimore Metro and then walked for an hour and a half / transferred to the bus / got a cab to get to (anywhere).

The backbone of transport in the big Russian capital of Moscow. It is notable worldwide for it's socialist architecture and art. The second most used metro/tube/subway system in the world behind the one in Tokyo. Also one of the only metro systems in the world that does not offer an audible door closing warning other than a voice.
