Sideways Gravity

The new phenomenon discoverable only when drinking has occurred, where an object or person moves sideways and/or downwards due to actions not of their own. This phenomenon can ONLY be understood by individuals impaired by alcohol.

Example 1: Person A has been drinking and knocks an object. That object is knocked sideways and then falls.
Person B: SIDEWAYS GRAVITY!

Example 2: Person A and person B are sitting on opposite ends of a bench at a party. Person A stands up and then the whole bench, including person B, tip over sideways.
Person C: SIDEWAYS GRAVITY!

When you hear someone say "fuck me sideways" they do not mean that literally, unless you are in the same room as a person and you both for some odd reason have your pants down. The actual meaning of it is "DAMN IT WHAT THE FUCK"

Sidewalk Phalanx

A phenomena that occurs when a group of people walk side by side, blocking the entire sidewalk in a phalanx formation. Can be either intentional or simply the actions of inconsiderate, oblivious people.

If that sidewalk phalanx does not let me through I might have to walk in the dirt!

Sidewalk Scraper

A term used to describe a well hung little person.

Well, I’ve now heard it all. Apparently Keith went to the midget tossing competition, and this little guy named Otto won. I guess Otto was so excited, he ripped his clothes off and what was hiding underneath? A 12 inch Sidewalk Scraper. Keith said he was a little devastated with the load, not very big at all. He said the Dong to ball ratio wasn’t right, but the girth of the old clamslammer made up for it!

Sidearm Distance (Frisbee)

Sidearm Frisbee, a Frisbee throwing technique, placing the disc between the thumb and first two fingers then throwing from the side. (similar to a sidearm baseball throw)

Ken Westerfield's sidearm distance record of 552 feet, with a 119 gram World Class Model Frisbee, Boulder Colorado 1978, and Victor Malafronte's, 538 feet also with a 119 gram Frisbee, not only have the longest sidearm throws of all time but are the best sidearm throwers of all time.

At a North American Series (NAS) Frisbee tournament in Dallas Texas, Westerfield became a member of the "400 club" with a prelim distance sidearm throw, and won the event with a throw of 378 feet, using a 119-gram World Class Model Frisbee. Only two competitors have officially ever thrown over 400 feet in competition with a 119-gram Frisbee (Lightweight disc by today's standard).

1978, in Boulder, Colorado, while doing a distance throwing demonstration at a North American Series (NAS) Event, Westerfield threw a sidearm 119-gram World Class Model Frisbee, 552 feet, shattering the official world distance record of 412 feet

Tournament officials marked and measured the throw at 552 feet. Since the introduction of heavy weight, sharp edge disc, the world record is now over 800 feet. However Westerfield's 552 feet is still the record for the sidearm throw
