scheisse

Properly written Scheiße.

German for 'shit' and like in English, is a vulgarity. It can be used as an exclamation and a synonym for feces.

The verb 'To shit (deficate)' is Scheißen.

The soft E on the end is often dropped in common conversation or in times of emergancy but is seldom used by English speaking people and they may assume you're mispronouncing it.
Treten nicht in die scheisse! (Don't step in the shit!)

Ich muss scheissen, entschudigung. (I have to shit, excuse me.)

Scheiss! Es ist defekt. (Shit! It's busted.)

Scheissenbedaurn

Scheissenbedaurn is the vague sense of disappointment that something thought to be really bad or in awful taste turns out to be not as bad as expected. (From the German, meaning literally: "shit-regret")
I left concerts by the Dixie Chicks and by Britney Spears with a vague sense of scheissenbedaurn. They merely mildly sucked, but neither was the world-class suckfest I longed for. The same thing cannot be said about the enormity that is a Barbra Streisand concert.

Scheiss

'Scheiss' as a somewhat shorter form of 'scheisse' (shit, crap)
Scheiss in general is often used the same way, as 'fuck' in US Englisch...
In German language, e.g. 'scheiss' (from Scheisse - shit) and 'egal' (equal) becomes 'scheissegal' which means whatever but with an 'fucking whatever' in mind.
So ein Scheiss - What a shit
Was für ein Scheiss hast Du gemacht? - What crap did you do?

scheißekopf

"scheiße" means shit;
"kopf" means head.

Each word by itself makes sense in German; the combination of these two words does not make sense.

English speakers put these two words together to make a new word, "shithead". This works in English. Doing so in German, however, does not work.

Just ask any German-speaking person: they'll tell you "scheißekopf" makes no sense in German.
To avoid sounding like a dummkopf, don't use the contrived and inaccurate term, scheißekopf.
