To "maura out" of something is to bitch out at the last minute after promising that you would complete said action. One who "mauras out" usually profusely promises to do it the next time, but of course the next time he or she promptly mauras out once again.

I totally thought I was going to hang out with her last night until she maura'd out!

I'm not even going to make plans with him because I know he'll maura out!
