pubbety-pubbety

pronounced like a blend of (pih) and (puh), pubbety-Pubbety is a term used to look like a nerd but allows entry into a conversation with a group of friends, without looking like an awkward "Third Nipple".

Basically you dont have to stand around quietly and hope to get noticed while looking like a douchebag.

(scene: friends talking, standing in a circle.) You walk up to a close friend who isnt talking and say "Pubbety-pubbety" quietly so that they will say something like: "Oh, hey! there you are, man!"

PubMedding

To look up and investigate something on the Pub Med database. Search for information about scientific and medical topics. Pub Med is the term used for the government's website for scientific and medical research; pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov. This is an often-used term among science nerds.

LeeAnn was always PubMedding her symptoms to try and self-diagnose her illness.

When one orders a Dr Pepper only to realize that they've been given a Mr Pibb, due to the Texas court order that ended Dr. Pepper’s long-running distribution agreement with Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling, which supplies Coke products to parts of California and Nevada.

The moment is marked by the rude awakening brought on by the aggressive flavor of Mr. Pibb, Coca-Cola’s “spicy cherry alternative.”
