Band Geek

Someone whose life revolves around band.
Usually classmates in other classes get upset, cause all this person talks about is band.
This type of teenager is usually located in the band room.
They are there so much, they have probably tried to order pizza to the band room.
These people are by far the coolest people you will ever meet.
And they actually have a life, unlike everyone else.

Band Geek: OMG! That song we're playing in band is amazing! I've downloaded it on my iPod, it's my myspace song....
Student: AHH! SHUTUP ABOUT BAND.
Band Geek: Oh, you're just jealous that you don't have a life.

geek chic

Geek chic is a cynical marketing trend that tries to tap into the large geek demographic by superficially adding generically geeky elements to otherwise non-geeky people. By wearing glasses, carrying the latest Sharper Image gadgets, and casually dropping computer terminology and Star Trek references in their speech, geeks are supposed to believe these same models and actors/actresses that would never consider them in real life is a "cool" version of themselves. Obviously, only the most naive geeks fall for this.

Warner Bros. sure is cynical to expect us to find the geek chic added to Clark Kent in Smallville plausible when the actor was an underwear model.

Drama geek

someone who's life is entirly dedicated to drama and who is cool. a drama geek is unlike other geeks as they are able to blend in with the crowd. They are usually found in a school canteen, and their laughing is heard before they are seen.

Geek Squad

New gang fromed at American electronics retailer Best Buy. They dress scrawny FBI agents and drive VW beetles with the GS logo on the side. If you work at Circuit City these thugs will vandalize the store and you.

theatre geek

A (usually high school) student who performs in plays or does technical theatre work. Originally a term of derision (see definitions below), "theatre geek" has now been co-opted by theatre geeks.
