bummus chummus

A bummus chummus is a loving gesture between platonic friends. While it is intimate, it is not sexual in nature and thus can be performed by any gender on any gender. It typically starts out as a hug between two people, when one person reaches down and grabs a butt cheek in each hand and gently lifts and separates the cheeks. The duration of the bummus chummus can be extremely brief or held for as long as desired. A half bummus is when only one hand is used (the other hand being somehow occupied). You can sneak attack a bummus chummus by approaching someone from behind, but a true bummus chummus is never meant to be mean or make anyone (except onlookers) uncomfortable. Variants include the boobus choobus, scrotus chotus, and labias flabias, all of which require a much greater level of intimacy. A lovely experience is when both friends give each other a simaltaneous bummus chummus.

Friend 1: "have you ever had a bummus chummus?"
Friend 2: "no what's that?"
Friend 1: "come give me a hug!"
Friend 2: "okay... what the..."
Friend 1: "shhhhh"
Friend 2: "oh... that's nice!"

Stoked Bummer

A feeling that arises from a bitter-sweet moment in which you are happy (or "Stoked") about a particular circumstance, while simultaneously saddened (total "Bummer" dude!) due to a consequence of the same event. Only really applies to people in Souther California, or events taking place there.

Me: Dude, so I'm stoked that my little sister is getting a sweet gig in Portland but I'm bummed-out that it means she will be moving out of SoCal.
Buddy: Yeah, Stoked Bummer man.
Me: Double True.

getting bummed

He had decided after many years within a stale marriage and living a lie that he had to come out and be himself and live openly and honestly as a gay man. Everyone was really accepting of him and that made him happy however he now had one last obstacle to overcome and that was the almost certain knowledge that he would be getting bummed.
