Nothing grows on a dry tooth is an old Canadian idiom. It means that being bitter and closed off can't lead to any change/making new friends. Saying it is a good way to call out your friends out when they display un-Canadian-like behaviour.

A misspelling of "nothing personal, kid" meant to detect the presence of newfags, who, unaware of the in-joke, will attempt to correct the spelling. Similar in purpose to phrases such as "turn 360 degrees and walk away" or "RIP in pieces".
