clubbing baby seals

synonymous with "shooting fish in a barrel," relating to doing a task, often involving hunting or destroying an enemy, that is painfully easy.

Should not be used due to the inherent image of animal cruelty. Stick to the fish and barrel.
Shooting down enemy planes from an F-22 Raptor is like clubbing baby seals. It's that easy.

clubbing

Participating, individually or with a group, in the more active aspects of urban nightlife. Term encompasses both dancing and non-dancing participation, sexualized and non-sexualized, and usually refers to large, perception- or mood-altering venues. Suggests, but does not imply, the use of drugs or alcohol. Can be applied, though only loosely, to clubs in the suburbs.
I was macking on some random hottie and wishing they'd play anything Calderone; Jay was grinding to strobes in the main hall; Bess was reapplying the body glitter she'd rubbed off on everyone else, and Biff was gamely slamming Grey Goose with the DJ. It was another night clubbing.

Queen of Clubs

A woman who dominates the club scene and reigns supreme over all other club-goers. She's the girl who knows everyone, gets free drinks from the bartenders, and always has the best spot in the VIP section. She's got style for days and can dance like nobody's business.
Person 1: Hey, have you heard about the new girl in town who goes out clubbing every night?
Person 2: Oh, you mean the Queen of Clubs? She's the one who runs the scene. She's got all the connections, gets free drinks, and always has a table waiting for her. And have you seen her moves on the dance floor? She's the real deal.
