A ceremonial bathing ritual, usually across Norse and Wiccan communities, is something where a bride and groom to be, won’t partake in showering for up to 3 weeks prior to the wedding. The evening before a big ceremony, the couple will wash all Sins and impure thoughts and things from each other. This being the ritual held in pitch black, with only a single candle across the room.
