Stoned as a shrimp

Originating from the Dutch saying "Zo stoned als een garnaal", it is the expression of being extremely high from weed, or hash. It became extremely popular in the Netherlands after the hit song "Stoned als een garnaal" by comedy duo Van Kooten en De Bie.

Many foreign travelers, especialy ones staying at youth hostels copied the saying and shared it abroad, directly translated.

"So, did you use any of the weed you found?"
"Yeah man, we were stoned as a shrimp.

The Stoned Ranger

1 teaspoon butter and 1 teaspoon of weed finely grounded in a cup. Pour 1 cup of boiling milk into the cup and stir. Let sit, covered, for 20 minutes then reheat in microwave. Pour 2 shots of whiskey into cup and stir to complete the drink.
