A term used in the firearm industry by enthusiasts to express their feelings on firearms and ammunition choice. Steel case ammunition is generally seen as lower quality compared to its brass brethren. This term is used to describe firearms that cannot reliably use the aforementioned steel cased ammunition and needs brass cased ammunition to function properly.
Person 1: "My AR-15 doesn't cycle Steel case ammo right."
Person 2: "Just buy better ammo"
Person 1: "If it doesn't run steel it doesn't deserve brass. I need something that will work no matter what I have."

hot brass dance
The involuntary and hilariously frantic motions of a person at the shooting range who has just had a scorching hot cartridge case fall down inside their clothing. Double hilarity points if it's a lady with a hot case trapped in between her large exposed knockers. Triple points if somebody ends up instinctively "going in" to help her out.
Can be generally avoided by not tucking your shirt in if you're shooting an autoloader, and not permitting women with low-cut tops at the range.

Solid Gold Brass
A teenage Girl, usually around 16, who dresses as if she were older and is sexually active and prefers older men. Made famous by the rock band "Sweet"
