speed test

Similar to the speed test used to test your internet connection, but this speed test is used to determine which checkout line is moving faster. It involves a snap judgment as to (1) which checkout clerk looks the least likely to encounter a situation in which they have to call the manager, and (2) which customers are least likely to have some sort of problem at checkout.

I used the speed test at Costco and got burned when the line I changed into was actually slower than the line I moved out of.

A dumb test that has nothing to do with what you learned or studied for, for the past 2 weeks

i studied geometry for 2 weeks strait but instead of a geometry benchmark test they gave me a calculus benchmark test.

test email

An email, usually very short, sent for the purpose of testing whether the email system is working. The sender's purpose may be:
- to find out whether the sender's outgoing email is configured correctly
- to troubleshoot the end-to-end connection between a sender and recipient

If the sender is able to find his solution with no response from the recipient, the test email will usually contain a terse instruction like "ignore this email."

If the sender needs a response from the recipient in order to complete the test, then the test email will say something like "let me know if you got this."

The Tang Test

The Tang Test is the test most men take before tounging out a ladies vagina. The Tang Test involves inserting a finger into the vagina and then running that finger across your nose and or placing it into your mouth to test the level of tang before proceeding to perform oral sex.
